Matching Gifts
You can drastically increase your fundraising total by having your donors apply for matching gifts!
Ask your company about their Matching Gift program:
Many companies have matching gift programs where they match up to 100% of their employees’ charitable donations. Be sure to ask your company (usually the HR department is best to ask first) and prompt your donors to ask their companies about matching gift programs as well. Pay close attention to your company’s matching gift program procedures and mail any printed materials or forms to:

- Send an email to your donors explaining the benefits of Matching Employer Gifts and let them know they can access an employer lookup at www.nationalmssociety.org/employermatch
- Follow the procedure outlined by your company’s matching gift program; printed materials may be mailed to:

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please visit www.nationalmssociety.org/employermatch.
If your company matches, you may be able to access the forms directly through the search. Follow the set procedure, and the National MS Society will be happy to assist. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
