Now that the event is over, can I still fundraise?
Yes! The fundraising and rankings deadline is April 5, 2013. We are still working toward the $1 million goal so keep your fundraising dollars coming!
Where do I mail my donations?

Who do I make checks payable to?
Checks can be made payable to Climb to the Top. Also, remember to include the participant’s name and account number, if known, in the memo section of each check.
What is the latest date that I can mail checks?
Checks must be postmarked by the fundraising deadline of April 5, 2013 in order to count towards your rankings total for Climb to the Top 2013. You can still send donations after that date and they will credited to your account, but they will not count toward your ranking.
What is a Climb to the Top Top Fundraiser?
Climb to the Top Top Fundraisers are participants who raise $1,000 or more by or after the day of our rankings deadline on April 5, 2013. Top Fundraisers receive special perks at the event and are eligible to receive a Climb to the Top Sport Bag. Click here to view.
What is the Elite 66 Club?
The Elite 66 Club is made up of the Elite 66 fundraisers from the previous year. Elite 66 Club members receive special perks throughout the year and on the day of the event, including a personalized bib. The 2014 Elite 66 Club will be made up of the highest fundraisers from this year’s event as of April 5, 2013. 2014 Elite 66 Club members are eligible to receive a Racer Jacket.
Are there any fundraising challenges left?
Yes! April 1 – 5 is the Final Fundraising Challenge. Look out in your email for more details!
What if my company wants to match my donation?
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please visit www.nationalmssociety.org/employermatch.
If your company matches, you may be able to access the forms directly through the search. Follow the set procedure, and the National MS Society will be happy to assist. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

We will send a confirmation to your company and, upon receipt of the check, we will credit your Climb to the Top fundraising efforts.
How long does it take for checks to show up on my fundraising page?
It depends how many checks the Chapter receives and how close it is to the event. Checks that are mailed prior to the event can take two to four weeks to show up on your account. To avoid the wait, you can always encourage your donors to sponsor you online. Online donations are safe and easy.
Are donations tax deductible and how do I get a receipt?
Yes. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Your cleared check or credit card transaction serves as your receipt. Donations of $250 or more will automatically receive an acknowledgement from the National MS Society by the end of the calendar year in which the donation is made.
